• Discipleship

Raising our children and educating them could be described as, "a long obedience in the same direction." The longer we homeschool, the more we believe that to be obedient, to stay on the "narrow pathway" that Jesus described, we need the Lord desperately, and we also need each other.

  • Encouragement

Encourage means, "to inspire with hope, courage, or confidence; hearten."

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up." I Thessalonians 5:11

It takes 30-45 days to settle into a new school routine.

Does the new school year have you feeling discombobulated? The good news is you are not alone!

It's probably safe to speculate that most families are currently experiencing growing pains.  We are building our mental muscles and if we don't grow weary (or if we keep pressing on when we are weary and confused) by the time the 30 day mark rolls around we will be pleased with our progress.   Oh, what a reward it will be to discover that we are getting stronger and the workload is getting easier to manage.

By 45 days, this new routine will be the new "normal".

Keep moving forward, press on and don't give up!
