  • Discipleship

Raising our children and educating them could be described as, "a long obedience in the same direction." The longer we homeschool, the more we believe that to be obedient, to stay on the "narrow pathway" that Jesus described, we need the Lord desperately, and we also need each other.

    Encouragement

Encourage means, "to inspire with hope, courage, or confidence; hearten."

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up." I Thessalonians 5:11

Praying Hands

Heavenly Father,

I pray for the readers of this post that have gathered here. I praise you Lord for you alone are mighty and can move mountains!  I thank you that we are not alone for many are in the process of making schooling decisions. I thank you, Lord, that you have it all figured out and that you hold our families in your hands.  We know that you are not confused or overwhelmed, and in that we put our hope and trust.  Please give us wisdom to know what is best for each of our children for the next school year.  I pray you will guide us towards the answers that you have for us.  Please make the path clear; open the doors you would have us to step through.  Please, Lord, pour abundant peace into the hearts and minds of these ladies.  We are excited to see all that you will accomplish through our children for your kingdom.

It is in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

"Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6-7(NIV)
