  • Discipleship

Raising our children and educating them could be described as, "a long obedience in the same direction." The longer we homeschool, the more we believe that to be obedient, to stay on the "narrow pathway" that Jesus described, we need the Lord desperately, and we also need each other.

    Encouragement

Encourage means, "to inspire with hope, courage, or confidence; hearten."

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up." I Thessalonians 5:11

He loves me!

As we start our Fruit of the Spirit series, we begin with LOVE. We can talk about loving one another, but let's first talk about the amazing, never-ending, unconditional love that our Father has for us.

Read the following verse slowly and really grasp what it is saying to YOU...

The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

~ Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord is in my midst!

He rejoices over me with gladness!

His love quiets my heart!

He exults over me with loud singing!

Wow! God LOVES me! He is delighted in me. He sings over me. I'll say it again...WOW!

My mind can barely comprehend that the Creator of the universe rejoices over me! If I walked in the beauty of this truth each day, the love He has for me would just spill out to those around me.

I pray that we would grasp this amazing truth each day!
