• Discipleship

Raising our children and educating them could be described as, "a long obedience in the same direction." The longer we homeschool, the more we believe that to be obedient, to stay on the "narrow pathway" that Jesus described, we need the Lord desperately, and we also need each other.

  • Encouragement

Encourage means, "to inspire with hope, courage, or confidence; hearten."

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up." I Thessalonians 5:11

Faith Chain

My girl can’t see,

 what will be,

and what is coming.

In my “olderness”,

I can see,

and trust in okayness,

to come,

and even if the answers,

are not what she wished,

to hear,

it will work out…anyway.

I rest there,

knowing for sure.

Similar to a food chain,

but a faith chain.

My Father,

smiles with crinkles in the corners,

of His wise eyes,

at me.

He sees what I cannot,

and knows I will be fine,

when I can not see what is coming,

and can’t rest in okayness.

One day, my girl,

will see,

and with wisdom.

will watch over,

resting and waiting.

A smile on her face.
