    Raising our children and educating them could be described as, "a long obedience in the same direction." The longer we homeschool, the more we believe that to be obedient, to stay on the "narrow pathway" that Jesus described, we need the Lord desperately, and we also need each other.

What's for Dinner? - Chili Chicken Lime Soup

Chili Chicken Lime Soup

10-12 Cups (one crock pot full) - Easy to prepare

Turn Crock Pot on High.

 

Add:

3 cooked chicken breasts, diced,

2 cans black beans, with juice, rinsed out with ¼ can water

2 cans kidney beans, with juice, rinsed out with ¼ can water

1 24- oz. jar of salsa

2 cups fresh or frozen corn

1 bunch cilantro, minced completely except for the woody parts of the stem (or puree’d)

2 Tbsp Seasoned Salt

2 Tbsp Sugar

Juice of 2 large limes

1 Kettle full of hot water 

 

Heat until very hot. Serve with shredded cheese and tortilla chips, if desired.
