Kindergarten

The Kindergarten class is focused around hands on learning activities and fun. The classes planned include: Math/Science, Motor Skills, Bible/Music, Literacy, Science/Social Studies, Recreation/Games. .

Social Studies - Around the world with Picture Books

​

Travel the world and introduce your child to world geography and culture with award-winning children’s literature. Beautiful Feet’s Around the World with Picture Books Part One covers Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica. In Asia you will explore China, Japan, Thailand, and India. In Africa you will visit Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, and Ghana.

 

Science - Evan Moor Science Experiments for Young Learners

  • Physical Science—properties and objects of materials, position and motion of objects, light, heat, electricity, and magnetism

  • Life Science—characteristics of organisms, life cycles of organisms, organisms and their environments

  • Earth and Space Science—properties of earth materials, objects in the sky, changes in the earth and sky

  • Science and Technology—abilities of technological design

Important Co-op Guidelines

​

  • All registering families must have at least one child entering the co-op that is kindergarten grade level or above.

  • Class placement for nursery and PreK-K will be determined by child's age as of the first day of co-op.

PreK

The PreK class is focused around hands on learning activities and fun. The classes planned include: Math/Science, Motor Skills, Bible/Music, Literacy, Science/Social Studies, Recreation/Games. This class exists for the purpose of facilitating those families who have older children in the co-op.
