Abeka Our America Grade 2
Step back into history and learn what life was like in our country's early days! Exploring the stories behind our flag, patriotic songs, and holidays, students will study the lives of the people who contributed to our American heritage---including the Pilgrims, Native Americans, early colonists, pioneers, inventors, athletes, and immigrants. Features colorful illustrations, maps, and review questions throughout.
From Enoch and Noah to John the Baptist and Paul, students will get to know the heroes of the Bible while working through six of IEW's nine units. A variety of games teach vocabulary, reinforce elements of style, and add to the fun!
The Teacher’s Manual e-book, a necessary component included with this purchase, provides all the help necessary for the teacher and parent: discussion starter ideas, sample key word outlines, sample brainstorming ideas, and thorough instructions for the games and activities.
Easy Grammar Level 2 or Level 1
Students learn grammar faster and easier when they're actually writing and editing texts; this hands-on approach to grammar is just one of the reasons why Easy Grammar is so successful. Utilizing the prepositional approach, students memorize prepositions to then eliminate from sentences, making finding the noun and verb much easier. Concepts are reviewed and introduced throughout the school year; this, accompanied with reviews helps to ensure engaged, mastery learning for all elementary aged children.
